Friday, August 7, 2026,  Forensic Psychologist & True Crime author Frank F. Weber will be speaking at the Silver Bay Public Library from 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. Frank will have his 2025 release, Heartbreak Hollow, at the event. This involves the true crime case of a young woman. She was promised a future. She woke up fighting for her life. Eliana Castillo was on the brink of a new beginning—an engagement to the heir of a powerful Midwestern crime family. Instead of getting the ring, she wakes up battered and bloodied in the woods outside Detroit Lakes, with no memory of how she got there—or why someone wanted her dead. In addition Frank’s 2026,  A Superior Affair, a murder mystery that takes place in Duluth  will be available at this time. Frank will walk attendees through profiling a case that lacked evidence, and give a live demonstration of a lie detector test (volunteer a friend).  Frank will be at the library before and after the event signing books.
