Thursday, June 12th, 2025, Forensic Psychologist & True Crime author Frank F. Weber will be speaking at Hoppy Girl Brewing from 6:00  to 7:00 p.m. Frank will speak about his forensic work and the writing of true crime mysteries. We are celebrating a decade of Brenda and Ford running the wonderful bed and breakfast, Turning Waters, right next door to where they brew amazing beer at Hoppy Girl. Wabasha is a beautiful summer drive. Frank’s  2025 release, The Sun, will be available at the event.  The Sun and Scandal of Vandals are based on a true Minnesota mystery that was once touted as “the crime of the century.” A prominent Twin Cities attorney was accused of hiring a hitman to kill his wife. Scandal of Vandals ended with a conviction. The Sun involves the fallout on the lives of the same characters after the appeal. Frank will share information related to the case and give a live demonstration of a lie detector test (volunteer a friend).  Frank will be at  Hoppy Girl Brewery signing books and answering individual questions by 4:30 p.m. and will be available for questions after the event.
